Pretty crazy what getting a single blue checkmark results in happening to your (biometric, PII) data.

The uncomfortable question is: what are the real alternatives? Either you accept more bots and impersonation, or you move toward privacy-preserving verification (zero-knowledge proofs, attestations, EU digital IDs done properly)... but those are really hard to build and don't give platforms the same data leverage. ;)
