GitGuardian raises €39.0M Series B round

The funding will be used to accelerate growth strategies, extend its secret detection solution to become a comprehensive code security platform, expand its go-to-market, and increase its headcount across the US and Europe. GitGuardian plans to establish a strong presence in the United States and recruit key team members there. The company also intends to add other types of vulnerabilities and move into adjacent verticals by 2022.
